Final Results of the Most Active Operator Competition 2009

RRDXA is proud to announce the final results of the Most Active Operator Competition 2009. What an incredible race! As in 2008, far more than 600.000 QSOs where made, most of them in CW.

Here are the final result:

652.922 QSOs are in the log of which 50,75% were in CW, 33,2% in SSB, 16% in DIG modes.

Survey: Contestuniversity in Friedrichshafen?

Hello friends,

it is planed for the Ham Radio 2010 to launch a Contest University (CTU) in cooperation with the DARC and the DXHF committee. The CTU has been held with great success three times in Dayton, USA.  Therefore, Mitch Wolfson DJ0QN, member of the DARC Executive Board, came up with the suggestion that a similar event should be held in Germany. Both major contest clubs, BCC and RRDXA, will take part. The Contest University should offer subjects for the beginner as well as for the experienced contester.

Irina, DL8DYL, responsible for public relations for the BCC, was so kind to create a poll.

The poll is open and available on the BCC homepage:
