RRDXA Spring Meeting 2011

Liebe YLs, OMs und Freunde der RRDXA,

am Samstag den 19. März 2011 ab 09:30 fand unser diesjähriges offizielles  Frühjahrstreffen wie in den letzten Jahren in der Gaststätte "Dorfquelle" 45731 Waltrop, Ickerner Str. 160 statt.

Our RRDXA Spring Meeting 2011 took place as scheduled

Saturday 19th March 2011 from 09:30.

The location was again in the Gaststätte Dorfquelle, Ickenerstr. 160, Waltrop. Agenda is shown below.  Summary of our meeting will be publishe later, but you see a photograph of our participating members .

Final Results of the Most Active Operator Competition 2010

RRDXA is proud to announce the final results of the Most Active Operator Competition 2010. What an incredible race! As in 2009 most of the QSOs were made in CW.

Here are the final result:

542.006 QSOs are in the log of which 49,73% were in CW, 32,94% in SSB, 17,33% in DIG modes.

CR3L (M/2) wins CQWW RTTY 2009

CR3L hat den CQWW RTTY 2009 in der Klasse M2 mit neuem Weltrekord gewonnen. Das CR3L Team mit dem OPs DJ3NG, DJ6QT, DK4QT und DL1YFF sicherte sich den ersten Platz mit 9.147.201 Punkten vor P49X.

CQ Magazine wrote in its recent edition of May 2010:
The German powerhouse of DJ6QT, DK4QT, DJ3NG, and DL1YFF (RRDXA Chairman) drove CR3L to a decisive victory over Americans [...] at P49X. The antennas at CR3L were asembled and towers erected in the days just prior to the contest. Despite the solar low, they managed to get within 14% of the world record set by [...] HC8N at the solar peak in 2002.

CT9L (M/M) wins ARRL CW 2009

The Madeiras station of CT9L operated by Germans DJ6QT, DK7YY, DK9VZ, DL5AXX, DL5LYM and DL8WAA was the top entrant in the DX Multioperator, Multi-Transmitter category. Their score of just over 4.9 million points was enough to set a new Africa record and to top Croatia’s 9A1A with operators 9A5W, 9A5E, 9A8W, 9A6A, 9A4WW, 9A7R, 9A9A and 9A2DQ and third place HG1S operated by HA1TJ, HA1DAC, HA1DAI and HA1DAE.

Continental records for the DX side were set in the Single Op Assisted category for Africa by D4C (YL2KL, op), Single Band 20 meters for Oceania by KH7XS (K4XS, op), Multioperator Single Transmitter for Africa by EF8M and Multioperator, Multitransmitter for Africa by CT9L.
