DX dinner during HAM-Radio 2016 PDF Print E-mail

Our DX-dinner during Ham-radio 2016 will take place at a different venue. We have reserved seating at Restaurant "Fischerstuble" near the lake and near the public camp ground. As usual, we will meet on Friday evening, 24th June 2016 and are expecting various national and international guests.

In deep mourning the Rhein-Ruhr-DX-Association has to announce that their former chairman Hans-Juergen Bartels, DL1YFF, has become silent key. On June 16th, 2015 we lost a highly recognized and always helpful radio amateur much too early at the age of 71.

The preparations for our 50 year anniversary are progressing and the party will be held on 27th June during ham-radio. Meanwhile we could arrange a two-course buffet with bavarian specialties. Additionally international guests are expected (from the U.S. as well as Asia).  Registration is still possible through DK5AX.  Thanks to the BCC, which allowed us to take over the reservation of the venue at Graf-Zeppelin-Haus (Olgastrasse 20, 88045 Friedrichshafen). Germany nominated to host WRTC 2018 PDF Print E-mail

On Sunday, October 5, 2014 the World Radio Team Championship (WRTC) Sanctioning Committee selected Germany 

as the host nation for the WRTC 2018. This nomination followed an initative of DARC, BCC and RRDXA,

initiated during the Ham Radio fair Friedrichshafen at the end of June 2014.

DX meeting in Hotel Adler during HAM-radio PDF Print E-mail

As every year we plan to have our traditional DX-meeting in the Adler (=Eagle :-)-restaurant:


The meeting will be on the 27th of June. Friends are welcome and a pre-registration is not required. Just come by and enjoy food, drinks and DX-comradery.

Contest training for young contester and rookies PDF Print E-mail

The Rhein Ruhr DX association (www.rrdxa.eu) will offer an introduction into contesting aimed primarily at young people and amateurs new in contesting (no matter if licensed or still unlicensed). The training will be offered in association with the contest-group "Schoeppinger Berge e.V.". With DP7D near Munster there will be access to a competition-grade station. The planned date is the 11th to 13th July 2014. In addition to practical contest operation we will offer theoretical and practical intros into contesting. There will be a service charge of 20 Euro for the weekend. The number of participants is limited and allocation will be done strictly in order of registration. 5X8C - Uganda 2013 PDF Print E-mail

5X8C will be QRV from 6th to 18th February 2013. A multinational team of 25 operators, lead by the F6KOP team, will setup up to 6 Stations at the beach of the Lake Victoria in Uganda. 5X8C we be QRV in CW, SSB and RTTY.

4 RRDXA operators have joined the team: Lars DF1LON, Norbert DJ7JC, Hans-Jürgen DL1YFF and Uwe DL8OBF.

DL40RRDXA -QSL for Spanish Stations PDF Print E-mail

AS QSL-manager for DL40RRDXA I shall not answer any more QSL requests by Spanish stations arriving via bureau. I have a serious reason for this decision. All direct requests will be answered as before.

Due to our corprate identity we have our RRDXA badge. Meanwhile we have many new members who have not one yet, or some badges might have gone lost. So there obviously is a demand for new RRDXA badges. This is the occasion to order a new badge. It will cost 10 Euros and it will be available to Ham Radio, where you can get it.
